Iittala Birds By Toikka Annual Egg 2022 Crake

The Annual Egg 2022 of Iittala’s Birds by Toikka collection is called Crake, and it features a delicate chequer pattern in white and copper. Chosen as Iittala’s annual colour for 2022, the rich copper hue was picked from Iittala’s extensive glass colour archive, and it has been featured in several of Iittala’s collections. The annual egg is only available as a limited, numbered edition of 750 pieces.

The first glass birds of Birds by Toikka collection were designed in 1972 by Professor Oiva Toikka, renowned for his unique contribution to Finnish art glass over the past half-century.
